I am a housewife who recently learnt how to iron. I like eavesdropping on strangers, starry nights, and wearing my red shoes.
I am particularly inspired by this quote from John Bayley: 'The great conventional character must be created out of love; out of our delight in the existence of another person.' I believe that what is unseen is far more real than what is seen and I try to write stories with this eternal perspective. I like beautiful things, things that point to God and his goodness and love.

Anyone who dreams of flying will like my story. It is an enchanting tale that appeals to children and adults who have not fully grown up. Of Isabel, one reader remarked: ‘…she reminds me of Madeline, Alice, a whole host of strong heroines, girls that throw down their books, and do not listen to the Scholars and Scientists, girls that follow their hearts..’
Q: Why did you go indie?
I got quite a lot of support from fellow writers on Authonomy and loads of them were doing it, so I followed and jumped off the cliff!
