Bio: I am a former medicolegal secretary who gave up the 9-5 and moved from the North of England to a pretty village on Royal Deeside, Scotland to concentrate on writing full time. Four novels in, so far, so good. Realising one's dream is very liberating. When I'm not writing I like to walk my dog and indulge in a spot of fly fishing.

A: Although the story deals initially with the crime of date rape, its main focus is on the psychological and physical effect revenge and retribution has not only on the recipient, but also on the instigator. Revenge may be a dish best served cold, but it has repercussions for all involved, an aspect often overlooked.
Q: Why did you go indie?
A: My first novel, Saving Nathaniel, a romance, has been published by Night Publishing. As this is a totally different genre for me, I wanted to experiment with 'going it alone'. It has been hard work, but ultimately rewarding.
Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?
A: I have read very few crime books, so I don't have a favourite - I prefer classics. I am a big reader of Anthony Trollope and Mrs Gaskell.
