2:27 A.M. - Stephen James Price

Bio: Stephen James Price is an author, editor, publisher, and print and eBook interior and cover designer.  He was born and raised in New York, but has lived in the deep south (or within a two hour drive of it) for more than half of his life.  Although he claims to be northern by birth and southern by choice, he has never said “ya’ll” and even finds it difficult to write.

He currently lives in central Arkansas in a haunted house on “The Hill,” the Price family compound.
His hobbies include reading, writing, photography and telling “Grandpa’s Lies.”

Product Description: 2:27 A.M. is based on a true story.  It has multiple narrative  strands surrounding a grieving widower, Michael Saunders, a coven of witches (The Woman of the Thibodeaux Clan,) and Dr. Norman Baker, a charlatan in the 1930s claiming to have the cure for cancer. This story interweaves each of their lives with the motto, Be Careful What You Wish For.

Q: What will eReaders like about your book?

A: This book is based on the true story of Dr. Norman Baker, a man with a 10th grade education who promoted himself to a doctor and claimed to have the cure for cancer.  Hundreds, if not thousands of people died directly because of this man. It interweaves the story of Michael Saunders, a grieving widower and that of his wife, Maggie, a witch from a family of witches.

Q: Why did you go Indie?

A: I wanted to have more control over all aspects of the publication of this book.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?

A: Stephen King, Bentley Little, Scott Nicholson, Brian Keene and about 100 or so others.

You can find 2:27 a.m. on Amazon.
