Night Market - Hunter F. Goss

Bio:
I spent most of my working life in what is probably the most obscure and unglamorous corner of the fashion world: making finished leather and selling it to shoe and accessories manufacturers. Under another name, I’ve worked in comics and graphic novels.

I’m passionate about food and wine and I’ve even written the occasional wine article.

I live just north of Pittsburgh along the Pennsylvania-Ohio border in a quiet little town that’s close enough to the big city to let me wave my Terrible Towel with impunity.

Product description:

In NIGHT MARKET, love, sex, money, stock market crashes and bank failures punctuate the story of how and why the Undead helped John Pierpont Morgan rescue America’s largest banks during the Panic of 1907.

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?

They’ll like the fact that Night Market is a different kind of vampire story. Instead of the beautiful young woman falling for the handsome but dangerous vampire, the roles are reversed and a handsome young merchant banker becomes the lover of a 400 year old undead hottie from Venice. They’ll also like the fact that in many ways Night Market is an allegory for what’s been going on with Wall Street since 2008.

Q: Why did you go indie?

I grew up in the leather tanning business; a culture where it’s the norm to have your own vision and then see it through without depending on anyone else. So going indie just seemed like the right fit for my temperament.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?

Well, since I mix genres, I’d have to say Stephen King for horror and John Le Carre for his really sophisticated take on the thriller genre.
