a very different field.
Product description: Sapphire Hunting by J. SenGupta. A Young Adult Fantasy Adventure about a young man facing his own death, a degree course, and the search for his roots and his destiny.
Excerpt: “And so he was walking with Saesile high on terraced, ploughed hillsides, rich with lush summer growth, heavy with young fruit, buzzing with lazy summer insect species. The sun, high on the Cerulean sheet, itself hung high, pale and dry like rustling-old blue silk, faded from being set out too long in the shop window, was obscured by tornadoes of dust whisked up by each whim of the breeze, and by each of their steps on the red path cut alongside the wide step of farmland. The red path bled into the orange earth and the yellow stalks on the verges, and the fields stretched a short way on one side, punctuated here and there by low, heavy-barked trees, some with fruit, some with flower, and on the other side the dropping-away hillside, a slanting slice of thick verdure, and the prairie lands below, stretching far, far away home. They were walking in step, and in silence, and the march of their feet beat out a tattoo on top of the low insect drone, and as the trees punctuated the fields, sometimes near, and above them and sometimes far in the terracotta sunshine, the rustling of the wind in the crops punctuated the rhythm with its whistles and rustles, and the shade of a tree fell across them like a snap of dark chocolate.”
