****This multi-genre thriller and series is dedicated to the families and friends of the victims of 9/11. ****

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?
g: _The Watchman of Ephraim_ is a powerful thriller about a man (Cris De Niro) who lost his life on 9/11 who through an epiphany of faith turns his rage into a passion for protecting the citizens of the U.S.A. He’s not a superhero but he is an extraordinary character - a self-made billionaire born and raised on the tough streets of Brooklyn, NY. I think e-readers will enjoy the tempo of the book as well as empathizing with and rooting for De Niro. It’ll definitely entertain my e-brothers and e-sistas! (grin)

Q: Why did you go indie?
g: I decided to indie publish after reading three f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c blogs from the now-legendary “Selfpubber Sensei” Dean Wesley Smith – “Killing the Sacred Cows of Publishing”, “New World of Publishing”, and “Think Like a Publisher.” After a year of querying agents and writing proposals (almost 100) trying to sell a manuscript before _TWOE_ and getting nowhere, Sensei Dean gave me hope and motivated me. Literally a month after being turned on to his teachings – I published _TWOE_. Thanks Dean!

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?
g: In my genre, Tom Clancy was the man who started it all for me, but there are also a bunch of the next-generation thriller authors like Brad Thor, James Rollins, William Tyree, Kathleen Antrim, Joseph Flynn, Vince Flynn and there are others – all can spin a thriller yarn. I have to mention though, one of my all-time favorite authors is W.E.B. Griffin. He writes historical thrillers but I’m drawn to his prose most. His son William E. Butterworth IV has been partnering with his Dad for years – and is a talented writer on his own.
