Fall Leaves and the Black Dragon - Erik Gustafson

Bio:
Erik Gustafson was in the Air Force for 20 years and has lived all over the world in places like Iceland and Germany.  After his military career, he settled down in Iowa with my family.  He teaches psychology courses at a community college and helps people with intellectual disabilities.

Product description:
This is my first novel and it is called Fall Leaves and the Black Dragon.   It is a paranormal thriller about a young man suffering from childhood memories of a terrible fire that have now manifested as a dragon hell-bent to kill him while a ghostly voice urges him on a surreal journey to learn why and put an end to the dragon once and for all before it’s too late.

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?
The storytelling weaves hallucinations with a haunting to create a vivid, scary adventure. I think readers will like this novel because of my background in psychology is richly incorporated into the story and the characters.  It’s a book about overcoming fears and coming of age.

Q: Why did you go indie?
I went indie because self-publishing made my book instantly available and it seems like most people I know are reading ebooks nowadays.   I prefer ebooks because I am in control of my entire publishing experience from writing to marketing to designing a cover.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?
Some of my favorite horror writers are Stephen King, Peter Straub and Joe Hill.
