Love Tattoo, Lee Ann Sontheimer Murphy

Bio:
I am a full time author writing full length romance and speculative short fiction.  My first novel debuted in December 2010 from Evernight Publishing.  I grew up in the old river city of St. Joseph, Missouri but I now live and work in the Ozark Mountains.  I grew up blue collar working class, scribbling stories, and dreaming of becoming a writer one day.  I spent almost a decade working in broadcast radio after graduating from Missouri Southern State College.

Product description:
Love Tattoo is a paranormal romance.  One unexpected kiss inspires Cara Riley to make a detour that will change her life forever.  She wants to know more about mysterious Will Brennan who has his quirks.  He sleeps by day, plays by night and when she learns the secret he has kept for more than two hundred years, it's up to Cara whether or not they can find a happy ending to their love story.

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?
I think they will like the fresh approach to a traditonal creature of the night.  I hope that they will enjoy the setting - Memphis, Tennessee - because it is one of my own favorite cities, a place with mystery and romance.   The story is told through the heroine, Cara Riley, in first person and I believe that readers will like her straight forward, sassy way of telling her tale.

Q: Why did you go indie?
I spent years submitting and hoping to break into the "Big 6" when a friend suggested to forget that market and try indie.   I did and I am glad.  A year ago, I struggled with submissions that got standard rejections and it was very frustrating because I felt that no one seemed to even read my work or give it serious consideration.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?
I am finding that I love indie authors because their work is so fresh and new.  Some of my new favorites include Delilah Hunt, Anna Keraleigh,  JoAnne Kenrick, and many more.  Among traditionally published authors, I like Deborah Smith and Nora Roberts.
