Broken: a Paranormal Romance - David H. Burton

Bio:
David H. Burton was born in Windsor, Ontario to parents that instilled in
him the love of the written word at a very young age. Throughout his
childhood, David read relentlessly, often into the wee hours of the morning.

boys: hiking, swimming, kayaking, biking, and reading. David has a great
fondness for Portuguese cuisine, good wine, and all things left of centre.

Product description:
Three days before her twenty-fourth birthday, Katherine Gregory receives a
letter from her deceased mother. It details a faery curse in which the
eldest child in each generation will die in their twenty-fifth year.  Three
days before her twenty-fourth birthday, a new love interest comes knocking,
and her first love has returned - neither men are what they seem, and
Katherine may have to choose between them. Three days before her
twenty-fourth birthday, Katherine must decide if this is all real, or if the
strange visions she's been having are just a figment of her imagination. The
race to unravel the mystery begins, and Katherine must solve it - for any
day after her birthday could be her last.

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?
It's a great blend of mystery, suspense, fantasy, and romance. It's got a
little something for everyone. :)

Q: Why did you go indie?
My agent had submitted my first novel to forty editors and despite the
positive comments, none were willing to take it on. "Too risky," they said.
So I went out alone with it. I've enjoyed the amount of control I have over
things being independent, so I decided to keep putting books out on my own.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?
Easily Cathy Clamp and CT Adams.
