Ragnar the Murderer - Lily Byrne

Bio:
I was born in the Midlands of England and now live with my husband and child in the South. I have had a varied career working in banks, libraries, charities and for the last 10 years, secondary and further education. I always ignored the desire to write, thinking it wasn’t a valid career but can’t ignore it anymore. I have had several factual articles published and this has given me the confidence to publish some of my fiction.

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?
It is a passionate romance, with sex and violence, and a crime to be solved. Readers can relate to the characters as they face very modern dilemmas although the story is set in the 10th century.

Q: Why did you go indie?
Because I already have books published by my indie publisher (Night Publishing) under my real name Catherine Chisnall and they took a fancy to my historical romance novels.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?

This is my first historical romance, so I don't know any. I am more of a writer than a reader to be honest.
