The Devil To Pay - Maria Zannini

Bio: Maria Zannini used to save the world from bad advertising, but now she spends her time wrangling chickens, and fighting for a piece of the bed against dogs of epic proportions. Occasionally, she writes novels.

Product description: THE DEVIL TO PAY is a contemporary romance with its own mythology behind Heaven and Hell. The Afterlife is not what you think it is. It is the first book of a series called ‘Second Chances’.

Blurb: The road to Hell is paved with good intentions and bad tequila. Shannon McKee finds herself at the end of her rope, and in a fit of despair, she bargains her soul.

Shannon’s offer is accepted immediately by two men who couldn’t be more different from one another. Yet they share a bond and an affection for the stubborn Miss McKee that even they don’t understand.

When Heaven and Hell demand their payment, Shannon has no choice but to submit. No matter who gets her soul, she’s not getting out of this alive.

Q: What will e-readers like about your book? Readers who enjoy stories about the paranormal and the Afterlife will like THE DEVIL TO PAY. Here we have lustful angels and demons, magical realism, and ultimate sacrifice.

There is some explicit sex in this book, so please go forewarned.

Q: Why did you go indie? I have several books published with Carina Press and Samhain Publishing. And this one too was headed for an anthology when I decided to take a gamble and see how it would do on its own. It also gave me a chance to design my own cover—something I’ve always wanted to do.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre? Angela Knight and Karen Marie Moning.
