Flash Crash - Rudy Andrews

Summary: It is 2020. In the ruins of a Costa Blanca seaside resort, day trader Eli supplements his earnings by buying and selling anything he can get his hands on. In London, Meera is pitching for a contract offered by a consortium of Europe's wealthiest banks. A mysterious hit-and-run and a massive explosion in the Spanish mountains set off a series of events that will change the world for ever

Q: What will e-readers like about your book? It's a great read (73,000 words plus) at $1.59, painting a compelling picture of a near-future world that is frightening but all too believable. The characters are ordinary people who decide to put themselves in danger to do what is right - they are not superheroes

Q: Why did you go indie? I wanted to write a book and get it out to as many readers as possible as quickly as possible. As someone who works in software development and is comfortable around digital techology, I had never liked the idea of the constraints of traditional publishing

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre? William Gibson, Bruce Sterling
