Product description:
Transfigured is the story of Martina Lopez, an empath with the powers to heal through physical touch. After her capture by a covert corporate military squad, Martina is forced to relive the events which brought her to imprisonment. Her friends, an influential group of empaths known as 'The Oathtakers' spring into action, and Martina begins to discover she alone holds the key to helping the Oathtakers with their foresworn mission: protect humanity at all costs.

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?
I hope readers will enjoy a fresh pace-main character Martina is a Hispanic female, something we've not seen many of in the literary world as of late. And also, there aren't any vampires in it. So maybe some people won't like it so much. I think they will, anyway, fangs or no!

Q: Why did you go indie?
The standard publishing industry held no allure for me. I believe in working hard and helping others. The traditional pub industry doesn't seem to offer as many options (or the fantastic indie community) that self-publishing does. There's a definite satisfaction in being able to step back and say, "I did that, every word, every design, every inch."

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?
Suzanne Collins, Gary Paulsen
