Three Sisters - Helen Smith

Bio: Helen Smith is a novelist and playwright who lives in London. She's the author of Alison Wonderland, Being Light and The Miracle Inspector, as well as plays and children's books.

Product description: It's bonfire night in London. Emily has been invited to a party in the big house at the end of her street by the new owners, whom she has never met. Emily's dog Jessie has recently died so Emily is feeling a little raw and emotional. How could she know, as she left her house that evening, that she was making an appointment with death?

Q: What will e-readers like about your book?
Three Sisters is a fun, fast read. It has plenty of humour in it, it's well-written, it has some interesting characters for readers to fall in love with - and it's only 99 cents.

Q: Why did you go indie?
I wanted to write a new cozy mystery series especially for the Kindle, publishing several novella-length 'episodes' every year and making them available as cheaply as possible. I couldn't do that through a traditional publisher. Going indie is the only way to do this.

Q: Who are your favorite authors in your genre?
I love Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers.
