What Ukulele Players Really Want To Know, Barry Maz

Bio - my name is Barry Maz, and I am the author of the Got A Ukulele blog.  I've been hooked on playing the ukulele for some years now, and recently decided to start blogging and writing about it.  I am based in the UK.

Book - What Ukulele Players Really Want To Know

Product Description -
A guide to ukulele beginners, written specifically FOR beginners.

Concerned at the lack of answers to obvious ukulele questions for those just starting out, and the prescriptive nature of the tuition books, I started a blog, and now a book that aims to redress the balance.

This guide provides concise, no-nonsense answers to the obvious questions that the tuition books miss.

With chapters dealing from everything, from ukulele sizes, prices and strings to how to grow your nails. Also includes reference section and a very helpful glossary explaining those weird and wonderful terms that may baffle a beginner.

The book is aimed at being read in conjunction with other tuition, to provide some balance, and empower the new uke player without making them feel restricted by rules.
Q What will e readers like about your book?  The book is written as a companion piece to traditional teaching methods.  It deals with the questions many new players come across but the tutor books fail to cover.
Q. Why did you go indie?  The area of interest for my book is niche, and suspect that If I had tried to push for a more traditional publishing route, I would lose control of some of the content

Q Who are your favourite authors in this genre? - There aren't any - there are a host of very good tutor books on the market, but to the best of my knowledge, there is no other book that covers the issues that I cover!
